Refund & Cancellation Policy

Wild Planet Nature Tours

We understand that plans can change. Our refund policy is designed to be fair while allowing us to plan and operate small-group tours responsibly.

Participant Cancellations

Refunds are issued according to the schedule below, based on the number of days prior to the tour departure date:

• 120 days or more before departure:
  Refund of deposit minus $200 per person
  (or $50 per person if the deposit is transferred to another Wild Planet Nature Tours / ORI tour operating within the next year)

• Between 120 and 90 days before departure:
  Deposit is non-refundable, but any additional payments toward the tour balance will be refunded.

• Fewer than 90 days before departure:
  No refunds available.

This policy also applies to any pre-trip or post-trip extensions.

Tour Cancellations by Wild Planet Nature Tours

If a tour is canceled by Wild Planet Nature Tours prior to departure, all payments made for services not received will be refunded in full. This refund constitutes full settlement.

Transfer of Deposits

Deposits may be transferred to another eligible Wild Planet Nature Tours or Owl Research Institute tour scheduled within one year, subject to availability and transfer fees as noted above.

 

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances such as illness, injury, weather disruptions, or travel delays.

Approved refunds will be issued promptly after cancellation is confirmed.
